Eyal Balicer established the Interdisciplinary Research Unit at the Israel National Cyber Bureau in the Prime Minister’s Office and has served for the last two years as the Bureau’s Head of Research and Analysis. Under this purview, Eyal formulated Israel’s National Security Policy in Cyberspace and led a cross-government process to shape Israel’s International Cyber Strategy. In addition, Eyal spearheaded the Bureau’s international business development efforts by promoting strategic partnerships between multinational corporations and the Israeli cyber security ecosystem.
Prior to his civil service, he was the youngest IDF officer to ever serve at the Israeli Prime Minister’s Chambers, while working closely with leading national figures. By then, Eyal had already initiated his Predoctoral Studies in Political Science.
